'Irises' - by Vincent van Gogh
A canvas print of Vincent van Gogh's iconic Irises. Set in an ornate gilt frame, the picture was on display in the Guinness World of Records Exhibition in London's Trocadero Centre between 1980 and 1995, representing the most expensive painting ever sold, setting a record which stood for two and a half years.
The print is reproduced with a gloss canvas effect and measures 79cm x 54cm, with the frame measuring 87cm x 71cm.
I acquired the picture from the exhibition's owners Ripley Entertainment Inc at the dissolution of the exhibition in June 1995.
Please note, there is some superficial damage to the frame (pictured), but the print is unmarked.
